At this time of year I believe it is important to recognise the efforts of the people who quietly work in the background to help make your day just that bit better. Having been lady captain this year I have spent a lot of time in the golf clubhouse and the academy. Every single member of staff on duty has made a positive difference to my day on each and every occasion, whether it be to warmly welcome me, or advise me on golfing matters, or giving me a hug when things got a bit tough, or keeping me fed and watered. So, I would like to say a big “THANK YOU” to each of you, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a great 2023, you are a credit to Rudding Park.
